How to claim Medicare/Enhanced Primary Care (EPC).
Method 1: Claim Medicare/EPC with us at the clinic.
– Medicare card and Debit card are required.
Method 2: Claim Medicare benefits online.
– If your Medicare online account is linked to myGov, sign in and select “Make a claim”. (If you don’t have a myGov account or a Medicare online account, you’ll need to create them).
– They’ll pay your benefit into the bank account you’ve registered with them. You can register your bank details using your Medicare online account or the Express Plus Medicare mobile app.
Method 3: Using the Express Plus Medicare app.
– You need to download the Express Plus Medicare mobile app on your mobile phone.
– To use the app, you need an online Medicare account linked to myGov. (If you don’t have these accounts, you’ll need to create them).
– Before you start your claim, make sure you have both:
- Your invoice and receipt
- Details of the service you want to claim.
– When you claim, they’ll ask you to give them your bank account details or confirm them.
– The payment is made electronically into the bank account you have registered with them.
Note:
- You cannot simultaneously claim private health funds and Medicare for the same appointment.
- Your GP must approve your EPC plan with a signed EPC form.
